• One or more external scripts in <head> without defer, async or type="module".

Why it matters

The browser must pause building the page for every blocking script, so visitors stare at a blank screen for longer, delaying First Contentful Paint and LCP.

How to fix it

1. Add defer to scripts that need the DOM, or async to independent ones like analytics.
2. Move scripts that must block to the smallest possible inline snippet.
