Sitemap not referenced in robots.txt
Low priorityTechnical
You have both a robots.txt and a sitemap, but robots.txt doesn’t say where the sitemap is.
What triggers this issue
- robots.txt has no
Sitemap:line.
Why it matters
A Sitemap line lets every search engine and AI crawler find your sitemap, not only the ones you submit it to manually.
How to fix it
- Add a
Sitemap:line with the full URL anywhere in robots.txt.
Sitemap: https://example.com/sitemap.xml
