- HTML document is larger than 1 MB (uncompressed).
Why it matters
Large HTML usually comes from inlined data (JSON state, base64 images, SVG sprites) or thousands of hidden elements. Phones take longer to download and parse it, delaying everything else. Google stops reading HTML after 15 MB.
How to fix it
- Move inlined data, images and large scripts into separate cacheable files.
- Paginate or lazy-load very long lists.
