How this preview works
Google truncates titles by width, not character count: roughly 600 pixels on desktop, which is about 50–60 characters depending on the letters. We measure your title in the same font Google uses. Descriptions are cut at around 155–160 characters.
Google may still rewrite your title or description if it thinks another part of the page better matches the search. Titles and descriptions that accurately describe the page are rewritten less often. Read our guides towriting title tags and meta descriptions.
